Unified Christian Alliance, Inc., $1,000 Baccalaureate Scholarship Award application is available in the Guidance Office. Essay Required. (300 words or less) Deadline: April 7, 2015.

PBHS Class of 2002 scholarship application is available in the Guidance Office.
The Alpha Rho Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. scholarship is available in the Guidance Office. The scholarship will pay $1000.00 for one school term at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Deadline: March 31, 2015
The scholarship must be taken in the first year following the student’s graduation from high school. The scholarship will be paid directly to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff following verification of the student’s enrollment at the school. ($500.00 first semester, $500.00 second semester)
Arkansas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (AASFAA) will award at least two $500 scholarships to Arkansas students planning to attend member institutions. These are non-renewable awards. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. Applications must be postmarked by April 1, 2015.
UA Fayetteville is looking for students who may be interested in becoming a student athletic trainer at the University of Arkansas. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. Application deadline is April 11, 2015.

KIWANIS Club of Pine Bluff scholarship application is available in the Guidance Office. Applicant must be accepted for entrance to SEARK for the Technical Certificate in Health Sciences. This scholarship is limited to Jefferson County residents. Award: $1,000 split between 2 semesters. Applicant must meet college’s academic success requirements upon completing the 1st semester to receive the second award. Financial need is calculated into determining the award. Deadline is April 15, 2015.
2015 Buster Bynum Education Scholarship is named in honor of R. A. “Buster” Bynum, retired Director of the Virginia Department of Education’s pupil transportation office and former SESPTC treasurer, this one-time $2,500 education scholarship is made available to one deserving public school student in each of the fourteen-member southeastern states and Arkansas is one of those states. Scholarship application with guidelines and requirements are available in the Guidance Office. Application must be postmarked by April 30, 2015.
DuBocage Chapter – American Business Women’s Association has a scholarship for $750 per semester for a senior enrolling in an accredited college or university in Arkansas. Applications are in the Guidance Office. All completed applications and letters are to be postmarked by March 16, 2015.

The American Legion, Department of Arkansas, is offering eight (8) scholarships to be awarded in the spring of 2015. Four of the scholarships are from the Coudret Trust Foundation in the amount of $1,000.00 each and four are from the Garner Trust Foundation in the amount of $2,500.00. Applicant must be a family member of an American Legion member. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. Deadline: March 14, 2015.

Funding for these scholarships comes from families, businesses and individuals who want to support higher education and invest in our students. These donors determine the size and eligibility criteria for the scholarships they create, and Arkansas Community Foundation manages the scholarship process on their behalf. We accept applications for many of these scholarships each year. High school seniors from Pine Bluff and Jefferson County are eligible to apply for these scholarships, established for students in the general areas of but not limited to Sports, History, Library Sciences, English, Education, Healthcare and/or Hospital Administration. The Pine Bluff Community Foundation awards approximately 15 scholarships in our area. The local Scholarship Committee will review applications in March. The Arkansas Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) has two $2,000 college scholarships available for graduating high school seniors. Preference will be given to students who have previously attended/completed one of the SAME Engineering Camps. Scholarship applications are available in the Guidance Office. The application package must be received by March 27, 2015.

Arkansas High-Tech Scholarship is for Arkansas residents who are US citizens that plan to enroll full-time in an approved technical program, demonstrate leadership capabilities, and meet certain academic criteria are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to applicants who are graduating high school seniors. Applicants will be considered if they possess a minimum grade point average of 2.5 based on seven semesters and a minimum ACT composite score of 19. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. Deadline is July 1, 2015.
